The Technical Fire Safety Group (TFSG) has acquired Mann McGowan, intumescent seal technology specialists, to broaden its passive fire safety product offering.
Based in Aldershot, Hampshire, Mann McGowan has been working in intumescent seal technology for over 40 years and, TFSG said the company provides a ‘perfect fit’ with the TFSG’s existing subsidiaries Pyroguard and Fire Glass UK.
TFSG is part of the svt Group of Companies which contains passive fire protection specialists Odice SAS and Rolf Kuhn GmbH offers further opportunities for collaboration and synergies.
The acquisition is said to significantly strengthen TFSG’s customer offering and service proposition, providing customers with broader specialist expertise and technical know-how, underpinned by high levels of intellectual property, particularly in fire certification.
