The British Security Industry Association (BSIA) has announced Manchester Security’s return to the city’s Bridgewater Hall.
Scheduled for Thursday 26 March 2015 the event will bring together local businesses and police forces to discuss the security challenges facing the North West region.
The event, which is supported by Greater Manchester Police and the Manchester City Centre Crime Prevention Panel, also includes an exhibition where security companies will showcase their latest crime-prevention products and services to security personnel from a range of sectors.
This year’s event marked the event’s 20th anniversary and attracted more than 200 delegates from a wide range of organisations including well-known city-centre retailers like Morrisons and Selfridges, banks and public sector organisations including Manchester City Council.
The seminar programme featured a panel of expert speakers including Manchester’s Police and Crime Commissioner, Tony Lloyd, among other retail and security experts. Next year’s line-up will be announced in the new year.
Exhibition space for 2015’s event is now available to book at a cost of £795 plus VAT, which includes full access to the delegate list along with a 3m x 2m exhibition space and pre-event promotion to potential delegates.
Below is a video from last year’s event, featuring Tony Lloyd, Police and Crime Commissioner for Greater Manchester, discussing the role of the PCC in building safer communities.
