Whitepaper: Enhancing security, resilience and efficiency across a range of industries

“everything I needed to know”

PaxLock Pro unveiled at Paxton showcases throughout UK and Ireland

Security installers got their hands on Paxton’s latest product, wireless door handle PaxLock Pro, in a series of product showcases at the tail end of 2018.

Paxton, a developer of access control and video door entry solutions, also showcased access control app Paxton Connect Admin, the Net2 Entry Premium monitor and Net2 Entry Touch panel at the events, which took place around the UK and Ireland.

Recently launched alongside the upgraded Net2Air Bridge connector, PaxLock Pro can operate in standalone mode or as part of a networked system, has a compact design and is, according to Paxton, easy to install.

The product is already being deployed in commercial and public sector environments, including at Humberside Fire and Rescue Service headquarters.

“It filled gaps in my product knowledge and I learnt how different Net2 products can work together.” Steve Kench-Cannon, Active Security Group

Paxton’s industry experts also offered tips on sales and product management, including how to create a competitive and compelling quote to win more business.

Paxton says attendance numbers were well above the industry average for this type of event.

Bill Pratt of Commonsense Security was among 344 professionals who attended one of 30 sessions at 19 locations.

“For me, the Paxton Showcase ticked all the right boxes,” he said. “The presentation was really informative, and the half-day session included everything I needed to know about the Net2 range.

“The Q&A with the PaxLock Pro product manager was a great chance to learn more about the new product in more detail.”

Another attendee, Steve Kench-Cannon from Active Security Group, said: “I found the Paxton Showcase really useful. It filled in some gaps in my product knowledge and I learnt how the different Net2 products can work together. The quoting exercise was great and gave a practical demonstration of the journey you go on when creating a quote with customers.”

Said Kevin Osborne of Osborne Electrical Services: “The Paxton Showcase had a nice open forum, I enjoyed the atmosphere and it was great to have the opportunity to chat and ask questions. The new PaxLock Pro looks great and I look forward to quoting it to my customers.”
