Whitepaper: Enhancing security, resilience and efficiency across a range of industries

“minimises risk, guarantees compliance”

ROCKWOOL International eyes cost-efficiencies through Nedap’s Global Client Programme

Manufacturer ROCKWOOL International AS is securing its offices and factories worldwide through Nedap’s Global Client Programme.

Designed for large multinationals the Global Client Programme shortens implementation times and creates cost-efficiencies at scale, partly by standardising processes across sites.

Having one centralised security platform reduces initial setup costs per site, while shared services and economies of scale lower operational and maintenance overheads.

The programme will standardise security systems and procedures across ROCKWOOL’s offices and 28 factories around the world.

Timon Padberg, responsible for business development at Nedap Security Management, explained how every stage of the rollout process is closely monitored and aligned with the programme’s model.

“Scalable process”

“The repetitive nature of local site deployments allows us to work with models and templates, such as standard proposal and calculation documents,” he said. “We can therefore produce a scalable process that ensures uniformity and a consistently high quality of implementation across each site.”

“The implementation of a standardised security solution across the world is a complex process,” said Fokko van der Zee, managing director at Nedap Security Management. “It involves a large project spanning many years and involving many stakeholders, and demands a high level of project management.

“In the absence of a structured programme with defined guidelines, a global security rollout is likely to be a stressful execution. That’s why we set up our carefully designed Global Client Programme.”

Said ROCKWOOL digital service lead, Matthew Thorne: “We’ve worked with Nedap over the past few years and recently became a member of their Global Client Programme. Now we’re equipped with the people and tools we needed to standardise our physical security solution.

“The Global Client Programme also minimises risk and guarantees compliance. It really meets our needs in every possible way.”

Nedap is exhibiting at IFSEC International 2019, taking place 18-20 June 2019 at ExCeL London (stand IF2420). Book your free ticket now.
