Top Women in Security ASEAN 2021 winners announced!

IFSEC Global is proud to be supporting the Top Women in Security ASEAN Region 2021 awards, which has been established to recognise women who have advanced the security industry within the 10 countries of the Association of Southeast Asia Nations (ASEAN).

WomenInSecurityASEAN-Awards-21Nominations opened on Monday March 8, 2021, coordinating with International Women’s Day, and have now closed. The awards will take place in July 2021, with the judging process currently underway. Over 120 nominations were made this year.

This initiative seeks to expand out to all ASEAN countries following very successful Top Women in Security Awards held during 2020 in Singapore, Malaysia and Philippines. The Top Women in Security ASEAN Region awards also follow similar initiatives in India, as well as Africa, Europe and Canada and form part of a global campaign by the Women in Security & Resilience Alliance (WISECRA).

The awards bring together key chapters of premier, global security industry associations and professional women in security groups in Singapore. Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia and including the ASEAN Region Women in Security Network.
