The programme, which is continuously reviewed by focus groups across Aico to ensure the format remains fresh, will include greater use of video content and interactive elements.
To ensure consistency of knowledge and retain the integrity of the scheme, the Expert Installer will also now include a compulsory core module that will cover standards & regulations as well as alarm system design & installation.
Taster sessions of the new Expert Installer will be held twice a day at FIREX in Aico’s on-stand mini theatre.
Aico’s double decker stand at FIREX will also be fully staffed with Aico Regional Specification Managers and Aico’s Senior Management Team to offer visitors advice on the available products for smoke and CO alarm products.
A key focus will be on the new 3000 series which provides fire and CO detection across an entire property and features Aico’s latest technologies, including AudioLINK data extraction and SmartLINK wireless interconnection.
Aico will also participate in FIREX’s Sprinkler Zone to showcase how a BS5839 Part 6 Fire Alarm System can be readily integrated to sprinkler systems with Aico’s Ei414 Fire/CO Alarm Interface.
