Fire Door Seminar for Responsible Persons

Anyone who is deemed as the ‘responsible person’ for a building under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (RRO) is being invited to register for a free half-day seminar on how to comply with legislation surrounding fire doors.

The Dorset Fire & Rescue Service (DFRS) and Fire Door Inspection Scheme (FDIS) are offering advice and best-practice guidance on how to keep fire doors in good working order and therefore compliant with the law.

The seminar starts at 9.30am on Friday 17 April and takes place at Weymouth Community Safety Centre.

Speakers will include Andy Fox, head of fire safety at the DFRS, Neil Ashdown, FDIS general manager, Jeremy French, certificated fire door inspector and Shaun Brown of GEZE UK.

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.  To book a place email [email protected].
