On Wednesday 18th May at London’s ExCeL, Gerda, GSP Group will be running a session at FIREX International examining how new legislation and standards in fire safety will affect flat entrance doorset requirements.
Entitled, ‘Navigating the Fire Door Maze’, Fiona Critchley from Gerda, GSP Group will be speaking in South Gallery Suite 1 on Wednesday 18th May between 10:30-11:10 AM.
Fire doors play a vital role in keeping people and buildings safe. In an ever-changing legislative landscape, how can housing providers ensure that their fire doorsets comply with up-to-date standards?
Gerda will look at the plethora of new legislation and standards set to affect flat entrance doorsets in particular, including:
- Building Regulations
- The Construction Products Regulation
- The Building Safety Act 2022
- The Fire Safety Act 2021
- Impending Fire Safety (2022) regulations
The speaker will be Fiona Critchley, Head of Communications at Gerda, GSP Group and also Chair of Timber Doorsets Group, the Door & Hardware Federation and FIA member.
Shortly after the presentation, the company will be hosting a smoke demonstration on stand FI1610.
