Are you Being Paid Enough? Cento Fire & Security Jobs Launches Salary Comparison Website

brett ennalsA recruitment agency has launched a salary comparison website aimed at fire and security professionals – the first of its kind in these industries.

Developed by Cento Fire & Security Jobs the Cento Salary Guide aggregates salary information from subscribers and gives jobseekers average salaries for a variety of UK-based roles in engineering, management and sales positions.

Users anonymously add their own salaries to gain free access to the data.

Cento Fire & Security, which is based in Loughborough, says the tool will help employers gauge the market and set salaries at competitive levels, while employees can better understand what represents a fair wage for their skills.

It could even boost staff retention, motivation and job satisfaction, suggests the recruitment firm, should employees realise they are already being paid above the industry average for their role.

Alternatively, employees could use the service as a bargaining tool during performance reviews or in job interviews.

Users can compare salary rates by sector and job title and explore regional variations.

“The Cento Salary Guide is more  than just a website that provides earned income information,” says Brett Ennals, CEO of Cento Fire &Security Jobs. “It exists to provide key industry analysis, highlighting trends that will impact both employers and employees.

“Additionally, the guide also shows our capability in providing expert advice to our clients and candidates – beyond what is conventionally expected of a recruitment consultancy. The more salaries we have on the site, the more it increases in value as a true reflection of the industry.

“Start uploading your information and see the results for yourself.”
