Chartered security professional Grant Lecky has been named a ‘Leader of the Decade in Risk & Resilience’ by the Women Economic Forum (WEF).
Lecky, an expert network member (risk & resilience) at the World Economic Forum and co-founder of the Security Partners’ Forum (SPF), will be presented with the award at a two-day regional WEF plenary kicking off on International Women’s Day next year.
The award is conferred on leaders of both genders around the world, across all professions and backgrounds, who’ve excelled in entrepreneurship, education, technology, health, security, media and business.
Grant currently works as a risk and resilience expert for the Canadian government.
Last year he won five prestigious accolades, including a spot on the Canadian Who’s Who and an Outstanding Achievement in Global Cybersecurity (OAGCS) Award from the Ontario College of Management and Technology. As well being named among IFSEC Global’s security management influencers 2017 (and 12th overall in 2014), Grant was included in Security Magazine’s Most Influential People in Security in 2012.
He is now lead judge for The IFSEC Global security & fire influencers, a role he took on for the 2018 edition.
WEF Amsterdam takes place at the Postillion Convention Centre Amsterdam on 8-9 March 2019. Registration for the event, whose theme is ‘Ecosystems of Wellness: Toward Health, Naturalness & Authenticity in Personal and Professional lives’, will open in November 2018.
