Kentec’s range of illuminated warning signs now includes an IP66-rated weatherproof version.
The latest model has a polycarbonate enclosure with metal chassis and like the other signs in the range is available with standard or customised text and in different languages.
The Kentec range uses the cutting-edge LED technology for peerless reliability and more pronounced brightness – which remains constant across its operating range of 15-30 volts DC thanks to unique ‘power boost’ circuitry. Even on a system running on depleted batteries all signs remain at full intensity.
All models also include an audio/visual warning indication unit.
A split-level design means one message can be displayed in the sign’s top half and another can be displayed in the bottom half, so extinguishing protection systems, for example, can provide two-stage warnings.
The signs are now also available in split colours: red, green or yellow acrylic mounted in the top and bottom sections in any configuration. Text can be printed in black against the acrylic background or vice-versa.

The Dartford-based brand offers one of the most comprehensive selections of conventional, analogue addressable and extinguishant control panels on the market today.
