Professional Security Magazine’s Women in Security Awards 2018 include winners working for the NHS, Axis Security and Advanced Access.
The winners were announced during a sold-out event on Thursday September 13, taking place aboard the Dixie Queen riverboat for a dinner-dance cruise on the Thames in London.
Judges assessed candidates according to their contribution to the industry, especially where they had gone ‘above and beyond’ what was required for their role.
Judges included chairs and chief executives of the Association of Security Consultants, ASIS UK Chapter, British Security Industry Association (BSIA), Fire and Security Association (FSA), International Professional Security Association (IPSA), National Security Inspectorate (NSI), Security Industry Authority (SIA), Security Institute, Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board (SSAIB), and Worshipful Company of Security Professionals.
The event was hosted by the FSA, the leading trade association dedicated to companies who design, install, commission, maintain and monitor electronic fire, emergency and security systems.
