Bonnie Michelman has been voted as the 2022 IFSEC Global Influencer of the Year

The award, now in its second year following Jennie Vickers’ win in 2021, is the result of a panel of highly experienced and well-regarded judges selecting their top influencer from five finalists – each of whom topped their relevant categories in the long-running IFSEC Global Top Influencers in Security process.

The five finalists were:

  • Bonnie Michelman, Executive Director of Police, Security & Outside Services, Massachusetts General Hospital
  • Michael Gips, Principal, Global Insights in Professional Security
  • Sean Sportun, National Director, Strategic Accounts, GardaWorld Canada
  • Claudia Natanson MBE, VP of Information Security, AccuWeather
  • Adalberto Bem Haja, CEO, BHC Sistemas de Segurança

The finalists were assessed independently by a separate judging panel to the original awards. The IFSEC Global Influencer of the Year award is designed to celebrate the success of the Primus inter pares – ‘first among equals’.
