Abloy UK will highlight capabilities of its CLIQ technology, a web-based system that integrates a mechanical master key system with electronics that require no external power source, at IFSEC 2018.
CLIQ Connect cloud-based locking systems can be integrated with SCADA and telemetry processes, as well as offering key management, auditing and activity reporting. These features provide precise and cost-effective control over access permissions, says Abloy, enabling organisations to fully take control of their security.
The system can also be integrated with, for example, health and safety systems, and can result in improved efficiency, enhanced contractor management and reduced costs and carbon use.
“In the critical infrastructure space, the hybrid between mechanical and electronic technologies is ‘key’ to its success, maintaining the strict standards required for security whilst enhancing operational efficiencies and security for the future,” explained Steve Wintle, Head of CNI at Abloy UK.
“Data is the new gold, so we are keen to talk to visitors at IFSEC 2018 to demonstrate how using CLIQ technology can help overcome operational barriers and open up a wealth of new opportunities, such as significant financial savings, CO2 emissions reductions, sustainability benefits and time savings.”
Abloy is also providing high security doors for testing by BRE Global in the attack zone area of the exhibition, to demonstrate the resilience of products that are compliant with British and European standards.
