Whitepaper: Enhancing security, resilience and efficiency across a range of industries

A triumphant 12 months

How Oprema is shaping up in 2019 compared to 2018

The past 12 months have been triumphant for us here at Oprema with us now holding 5 million worth of stock across all four pillars of the business; CCTV, Access Control, Intruder and Fire.

We are continuing to move from strength to strength.

In 2018, we sold 50,000 CCTV cameras alone, amongst significant volumes of the other 3 disciplines. We have been taking part in roadshows throughout the year along with various partners and will continue to do this for the remainder of the year.

From a customer experience and logistics perspective, Oprema has invested £350k into our SAP and CRM system over the past few years which has seen us take major advancements within the industry.

We feel this has been fundamental to providing our customers with the key beneficial services, customer engagement and post-sales support required in today’s fast paced industry. We have also invested in serial scanning, logistic tracking and video verification of pre-configuration / build packages, as well as continuing to offer a pre-noon delivery service as standard.

This year Oprema embraced technical videos to showcase our partners new technology and assist them with configuration

Our technical support department have continued to add value for our customers, taking 7,500 pre and post service calls in 2018 alone. This year Oprema embraced technical videos to showcase our partners new technology and assist them with configuration, which have been well received by our customers and partners. In addition, our knowledge and agility has allowed us to deploy and deliver some interesting projects for enterprise level clients.

As a result of our developments, we have grown our workforce and welcomed over 26 new members of staff, resulting in over 10 internal promotions. We strive to live by our values, “move fast & think big, know your stuff, work together, be extraordinary, and do what’s right, always”, and consider our customers, employees and partners as key figures within the business operations.

At Oprema we offer a range of training courses with our Partners using our state-of-the-art demo and training facilities. With over 50 training courses booked in for 2019 and adding more dates regularly, we will have trained hundreds of engineers/installers by the end of 2019. In line with the training offered on site, we are proud to be authorised Dahua and Honeywell Galaxy trainers.

As well as offering vendor specific training to our customers these are also regularly carried out internally within the business to ensure our product knowledge is up to date with the technological advancements in the industry.

We have been accredited by Investors in People, which summaries how Oprema care and value their employees through the business. Also, we have been recognised as a Real Living Wage Employer and have been certified by Cyber Assurances for their Cyber Essentials certification.

Over the next 12 months, Oprema will continue with our ambitious growth plans as we see a space in the market for a distributor that offers our best in class key services; integration, knowledge, technical support, logistics and pre-configuration. As an independently owned distributor with agility and flexibility at its core, we are able to adapt our service and technology offering to our customers project and day-to-day business requirements.

The key to this is our customer relationship and proactive nature to seek feedback and advice, then adapt and deliver it. We see the team growing further adding to an already exceptional team and potentially entering new market areas. Watch this space!

Oprema is exhibiting at IFSEC International 2019, taking place 18-20 June 2019 at ExCeL London (stand IF842). Book your free ticket now.
