Make a date in your diary from 16-18 May to attend this year’s IFSEC at London’s ExCeL. The reason: the mega popular LPCB Attack Testing Zone is returning to the show floor to provide thrilling and dynamic demonstrations of how effective market-leading physical security products can be.
A full schedule of demonstrations, featuring Paul Dillon and the LPCB forced entry specialists, will put a range of LPS 1175 certified physical security products to the test, demonstrating why these highly engineered solutions are an absolute necessity.
Visitors can witness products from industry leading companies such as CLD Physical Security Systems, Jacksons Fencing, Zaun, Aluroll, Frontier Pitts, Sunray Engineering, Eagle Automation and Henry Squire & Sons withstanding heavy duty, simulated attacks which demonstrate their capabilities and effectiveness.
The tests will include products such as fencing, bi-fold gates, roller shutters, doorsets, padlocks and turnstiles – all vitally important frontline security solutions which apply to a vast range of key installations.
The Attack Testing Zone is by far the most popular feature at IFSEC and was originally introduced to the show in 2017 with the aim of providing visitors with a real time set of demonstrations of why certified security solutions are the first line of defence. And, when used as part of an overall security strategy, they can continue to maintain the integrity of major assets such as transport hubs, critical national infrastructure and utilities.
IFSEC Event Director Gerry Dunphy states: ‘’We’re delighted and ever grateful to Richard Flint, Paul Dillon and the team for continuing to support the Attack Testing Zone at IFSEC. Nothing quite beats the excitement and dynamism of the simulated attack situations and with the running commentary included, the visitor will gain first hand experience of how these vitally important product sets can work.
“These are premium products being put through rigorous tests and the proof is there to be witnessed. They work, they’ve passed the tests and they need to be specified.’’
Richard Flint, BRE’s Technical and Commercial Lead (Security), adds: ‘’IFSEC is a proven platform for us to showcase why the products that make it through our extensive tests successfully meet industry-leading standards. LPS 1175 covers the broadest scope of physical security products and services of any publicly available standard in the world, and the testing that underpins LPCB certification is thorough.
“Being able to show why these solutions have reached the levels required by the standards is hugely important and helps specifiers make informed judgements on the most suitable products available to the market.’’
