Whitepaper: Enhancing security, resilience and efficiency across a range of industries

The National Security Inspectorate (NSI), a partner of IFSEC International, has an action packed agenda for the UK’s largest security event taking place at ExCeL on 18-20th June.

NSI Stand IF2940 promises to be a top attraction for installers and integrators interested in finding out more about the value of third party certification to their business and clients.

FIREX International 2019:

As a leading authority on fire safety, NSI will also have a presence in FIREX. NSI’s Head of Operations (Systems), John Davidson, will be presenting in the FPA Infozone:

Wednesday 19 June, 10.30 – 11.00: The most common and serious issues fire risk assessors are coming across right now.
With real life examples, John will describe some of the shocking situations fire risk assessors witness and will also explain to the audience the importance of contracting competent fire risk assessors with the requisite third party certification.

Engineers of Tomorrow Competition

As a proud founding Stakeholder of Engineers of Tomorrow, NSI’s Chief Executive, will be presenting the heat winners’ prizes in the Keynote Arena at 15:20 on Thursday 20 June.

NSI’s auditors continue to play an integral role in adjudicating the national competition for apprentice installers which takes place throughout the three days at IFSEC. Now in its 21th year, the Engineers of Tomorrow competition shines a spotlight on the future talent coming into the industry who are helping to fill the skills gap and take the security and fire sector forward. This fun, live installation team challenge runs throughout the 3 days of the exhibition, encourages the development of young engineers and gives apprentices the chance to win a cash prizes of up to £1000, with the top three winning pairs invited to the prestigious Security Excellence Awards in November.

Drinks Reception

On Tuesday 18 June at 4pm, NSI will be hosting a drinks reception on the stand for its approved companies and industry stakeholders. In keeping with the NSI Summit theme of ‘Strengthening Partnerships’, Chief Executive Richard Jenkins, the NSI team and guests will be raising a glass to celebrate the success of private security and fire safety providers in delivering safer environments by working to standards set jointly by industry and stakeholders to protect people, property and improve public safety.

Giveaways

Cash, the NSI owl, will once again be making a guest appearance on the NSI stand on 18 and 19 June. This year visitors to the stand wishing to discuss their certification questions and requirements who share a photo of themselves together with Cash the owl on social media using the hashtag #WhatAHoot will receive a complimentary gift – don’t miss out!
