CSL acquires IQIP as it eyes European expansion

CSL has announced the acquisition of IQIP, a Netherlands-based provider of IP-based security and telecommunication services.

IQIP will give CSL a stronger platform for providing regional support and the acquisition reflects CSL’s growth ambitions across Europe.

It’s the second acquisition made by CSL, which specialises in providing secure connectivity for M2M/IoT devices, this year. Emizon was absorbed into the CSL Group in April.

“We are delighted to be joining the CSL Group,” said IQIP CEO Bert van den Berg. “This deal provides IQIP with a great opportunity to provide our partners and their customers with more product choice and greater organisational stability.

“CSL’s professionalism and expertise in a fast-changing and growing European market make this the most logical step forward into a new future’.”

Said CSL CEO Ed Heale: “It’s a great acquisition for us. IQIP is a well-known and well-regarded business in the industry.

“The acquisition provides us with a solid platform from which to grow in continental Europe and offer out a broader range of products and services.”
