OPTEX and Fiber SenSys to operate as single brand in Middle Eastern market

The OPTEX Group has sought to gain a stronger foothold in the Middle Eastern market by operating OPTEX Europe and Fiber SenSys Inc as a single entity in the lucrative region.

Each organisation can thus can offer an even wider range of technologies: Optex specialising in sensors, Fiber SenSys providing fibre optic, integrated perimeter and data security solutions.

By pooling their resources and expertise the Optex Group hopes to provide customers in the region with a more powerful local presence and enhanced product portfolio.

Fiber SenSys Dubai branch has been operating under the new arrangement as of 1 April, with product and staff support remaining unchanged.

“Optex and Fiber Sensys’ product offering complements each other to provide a multi-layered intrusion detection system,” said Masaya Kida, managing director for Optex Europe. “In Europe and Africa, our sales and technical teams operate as one and it was a logical step to create the same synergy in the Middle East.”

Said Gaurav Mahajan, divisional manager for OPTEX in the Middle East: “Most security projects in the region require a combination of detection technologies to achieve the most secure and reliable level of security. It is great news that we can now provide our customers with fibre-optic fence intrusion detection, surveillance RADAR, long-range LiDARs, PIRs and beam towers.”

Optex Europe is exhibiting at IFSEC International 2019, taking place 18-20 June 2019 at ExCeL London (stand IF1730). Book your free ticket now.
