Securitas Announces 2013 Community Award Winners
Now in their fourth year, the Securitas Community Awards provide a platform for recognising the outstanding work carried out by the company’s employees in the UK.
Nine awards categories encourage participation from as many stakeholders as possible, in turn building upon the Securitas community while encouraging present staff to remain and new recruits to be welcomed.

The Good Customer Award is run in association with IFSECGlobal.com. It recognises and rewards those customers whose actions demonstrate their commitment to the continuing improvement of quality in security provision.
WYPTE has been working in partnership with Securitas for 14 years. Indeed, security is fully recognised as an integral element of a business that places customer care at the very heart of its ethos.
They believe that well trained and educated security officers will enhance the host business. The security function is always represented at board-level, and performance management is continually under review.
WYPTE’s approach to doing business is based on a “Team of Teams” whereby people and their personal development are paramount.
It is extremely proactive in the wider security arena, with two of West Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive’s management team speaking at IFSEC International 2013 as part of the IFSEC Academy. Training is also vital, with security personnel actively encouraged to become members of the Institute of Customer Service by way of study and examinations.
