AEOS by Nedap becomes Deliveroo’s security service provider

Employees of Deliveroo at various sites across the globe will now be protected by AEOS access control by Nedap.

Deliveroo sites in Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels and London, where its headquarters are based, will have the AEOS system installed mid-2019. Other sites, like Madrid, Melbourne and Singapore, will shortly follow.

Nedap’s UK expert channel partner, Hunter Group, has already completed the first installation, in Dubai, and an ambitious rollout will see Hunter install AEOS at around 50 more Deliveroo sites. Further, new sites will benefit from the rollout over the next 12-18 months.

AEOS satisfied the criteria set by Deliveroo, an online food delivery company. For example, its employees’ security is obviously paramount but it also sought a provider that could easily scale up with its own rapid expansion.

The technology company was founded in the UK but has quickly reached a global scale. It has more than 200 offices across 47 countries, achieving 650% year-on-year growth.

AEOS will help centralise and manage Deliveroo’s security by closely monitoring the safety of employees at each location, all from London’s headquarters. For instance, access control reporting will show if drivers have arrived safely, while CCTV footage will provide global visibility of Deliveroo’s network of offices.

Deliveroo also reportedly appreciated the flexibility offered by AEOS. Some of the sites are in areas with greater security risks. To solve this, AEOS will adapt security settings and solutions according to each site’s needs, while still adhering to a central security policy.

This will, for instance, give Deliveroo flexibility over the credentials its staff can present at various sites, which can be changed at any point.

Nedap is exhibiting at IFSEC International 2019, taking place 18-20 June 2019 at ExCeL London (stand IF2420). Book your free ticket now.
