S2 Security and Allegion announce Schlage NDE wireless locks integration

S2 Security and Allegion have announced a wireless locks integration.

The integration offers users real-time monitoring capabilities using S2 NetBox access control system for Schlage NDE wireless locks.

US provider of IP-based access control and video management S2 Security is working with Allegion a leading global security products supplier. The two companies’ collaboration has resulted in S2’s NetBox series’ product support for Schlage NDE wireless locks.

S2 NetBox access control and event monitoring system users can manage and control the locks using Allegion’s Engage Gateway and Bluetooth technology.

“We’re excited to offer support for and sell the popular Schlage NDE wireless locks,” said Mike Riegelman, vice president of business development at S2 Security.

NDE locksets, in particular, can be locked down in real-time, marking an advancement in wireless technologies.

Users can manage access control and event monitoring, such as real-time lockdowns, from S2 NetBox without requiring third-party hardware.

Schlage NDE combines the lock, credential reader, door position sensor and request to exit in a single unit. NDE wireless locks are simple to retrofit into standard interior doors without drilling additional holes. These locks connect directly to a smartphone for quick set up using the Engage mobile app.

NetBox software Version 4.9.08 is available for S2 Security certified integrators to download on S2 Support Central.

S2 Security is exhibiting at IFSEC International between 20-22 June 2017 at London ExCeL. You can find them on stand D1300. Get your free badge now.
