The two companies started collaborating in 2006. The Italian distributor was looking for a high performance IP video surveillance solution with megapixel – and particularly H.264 – support . Mirasys, with its open architecture and manufacturer independent software, was found to be the right choice.

Videotecnica’s aim is to provide system integrators and installers with an IP video surveillance solution that is open, scalable and suitable for any market segment. Videotecnica’s experience ranges through extensive projects in city video surveillance, logistics and the private market.
