Strategic merger for Chargecrest Security
Chargecrest says the move wsa prompted by requests from existing clients to deliver the same quality of service to their regional business throughout the UK.
The merger creates a GB pound 6.5 million business, and gives Chargecrest the opportunity of having a national infrastructure comprising two regional centres in the North (Nottingham) and South West (Cwmbran, Gwent) of the country from which to deliver its service.
There will also be a niche electronic security capability to complement its existing manned guarding business.
Chargecrest Security had been looking at strategies for taking the business model from the City to the regions, managing director Cliff Mills said: “Clients work with Chargecrest because of the quality of our delivery. However, we are now in the position to extend a better quality services outside of London and the South East because now we have the infrastructure to cope.
“The merger with Securiforce and Excel Group not only gives us this infrastructure overnight, but it also has the added attraction of a logistics and distribution security specialist that brings further capability and depth of expertise to the service we can offer.”
