Low cost 1K and 4K Mifare cards at Norbain
Providing a range of contactless smart card solutions for a variety of access control applications, in addition to the wide variety of products already provided, the new low cost 1K and 4K Mifare card is now available through Norbain.
Reputedly the most widely installed contactless smart card/proximity card technology in the world, with over 3.5 billion smart card chips and 40 million reader modules sold, the Mifare range includes proprietary technologies based upon various levels of the ISO/IEC 14443 Type A 13.56 MHz contactless smart card standard.
“Norbain has been asked many times by customers to provide an effective multiple use smart card that can be used on access control systems,” explained Gareth Ellams, Norbain’s access control manager.
“With the explosion of interest in the smart card industry, we can see a real benefit in providing this product.”
