State of Physical Access Trend Report 2024

Life’s an ‘Outdoor Adventure’ for the Risco Group

The 15 selected winners of Risco Group’s forward-thinking competition will be flown to a location in Greece where they’ll be able to meet and network with fellow installers and dealers of Risco Group solutions from around the world, and have the opportunity to exchange professional experiences.

The great ‘Outdoor Adventure’ will include driving through the rugged outdoors in 4x4s and enjoying breathtaking views of the many waterfalls, mountains and forests Greece has to offer.

On top of that, the winners will be travelling through authentic ethnic villages, meeting the local people and ending each day by eating exquisite local cuisines.

With each purchase of any of the participating products, participants increase their chances of winning, while also giving their end customers the peace of mind of advanced, reliable intruder protection.

Products involved in the initiative

The products involved include Risco Group’s Wireless Barrier Beams, WatchOUT outdoor detectors, Twin Beams and Lumin8.

Risco’s Wired and Wireless active infrared Barrier Beams are suitable for the outdoor perimeter protection of both residential and commercial properties. They feature direct sunlight immunity, front mounting modules and low power consumption.

Barrier height is up to 2.7 metres, while Risco states that system installation is both “quick and simple”.

The award-winning WatchOUT eXtreme offers reliable outdoor volumetric detection in harsher environments. Selective event recognition is achieved by applying unique signal processing techniques to two PIR and two microwave channels.

WatchOUT may be installed on the bus of Risco’s security systems, saving both time and money on installation and cabling while also allowing remote servicing to take place.

Risco Group’s Twin Beams afford a detection range of up to 75 metres and can be used for a wide variety of outdoor installations/applications.

Indeed, they provide reliable and cost-effective perimeter protection for buildings including warehouses and factories, as well as car parks.

The Lumin8 professional external sounders developed by Risco Group use a patent-pending spotlight to illuminate logos at all hours of the day or night. They support remote servicing when installed on a Risco security system.
