Immix, an automation platform that has been UL classified, has been designed to receive alarm events from a range of devices including video, video analytics, industry standard receivers and access control systems.
Events from the devices are then brought together using the software and presented to the operator.
Simon Jennings, Cougar’s control room manager, said: “The Immix platform not only improves the service we offer our end users, it also makes Cougar a far more attractive proposition to installers as we can now monitor more than 40 additional types of digital video recording equipment.”
The Immix platform features a single operator interface supporting range of hardware from most major manufacturers, Cougar said.
The software has a comprehensive audit trail designed to log everything an operator does, hears or witnesses. It requires no proprietary hardware such as peripherals, and its scalable architecture is Microsoft server certified.
