Security distributor Oprema is exhibiting at IFSEC International for the first time ever.
Oprema, which supplies trade with CCTV cameras, fire alarm systems and access control products from a range of brands, is marking its debut with a ‘Crack the Code’ competition. Visitors to its stand (C660) can enter the competition for the chance to win a £25,000 prize.
Working with strategic partners Dahua, Milestone, Paxton, Tyco and Videx the Cardiff-based company will showcase the latest security products and systems and promote its range of professional support services.
Oprema’s decision to exhibit at Europe’s largest annual security trade show reflect’s the company’s evolution from independent, local distributor to a turnkey national security solutions provider.
The company says it has invested heavily in recent months in upgrades to internal processes, enhancements to installer support and efforts to make the installation process more efficient.
Logging every engineer support phone call and proactively providing training solutions has resulted in cases of ‘no fault found for returned parts’ being slashed by 50%, the company reports. The average quote response time has plummeted from 35 minutes to 15 minutes, it says, while Oprema now strives to meet a one-hour window for product delivery to site.
“After many years of attending IFSEC, we’re delighted to be exhibiting for the first time,” says Gareth Williams, sales director at Oprema. “It’s an ideal platform for us to present the latest security solutions from our strategic partners, but also to make installers and integrators aware of the full range of support services we can offer them.
“From designing bespoke security systems through to commissioning, pre-configuration and even training – we offer a whole suite of professional services to improve efficiency. Installation labour is the key variable in any project, so improving this piece of the puzzle really adds value for our customers.”
“We’re really looking forward to meeting our existing customers, as well as making some new connections, at this year’s show, and displaying how we can work as a partner to installers and integrators.”
