EverFocus launches MobileFocus Apple iPhone and Android app to allow camera and DVR control on the move

Users of other smart-phones such as Blackberry and PC, Apple Mac or PDA users can also view live image streaming from their EverFocus DVRs via their internet browser.

MobileFocus users can set up and select between different sites where their EverFocus DVRs and IP cameras are deployed.

The application allows users to select between available cameras, control pan/tilt/zoom functions, focus cameras and initiate camera presets, auto-pan, pattern and guard tour programmed routines.

MobileFocus is compatible with EverFocus’ ECOR, Endeavor and Paragon DVR ranges as well as EverFocus NeVio IP cameras.

MobileFocus is available as a free application from Apple’s iTunes website and in addition to the iPhone it is also compatible with Apple iPod Touch and Apple iPad.

Android functionality
Google Android smartphone users can access MobileFocus for free from Google Android Market. The application allows users to enjoy smart-phone functionality such as viewing images in widescreen when the device is rotated and also picture zoom and contract using fingertip control.

Basil Singh, managing director, EverFocus Electronics UK, said: “EverFocus has always worked hard to ensure our devices allow end-users to easily get access to their images across the Internet, via web browsers on a PC or a mobile phone.

“We have gone further with our MobileFocus app to allow Apple iPhone and Android users to enjoy a wide range of functionality, such as pan/tilt/zoom, presets and guard tour routines which allow our customers to take control of their surveillance whether they are.

“MobileFocus is a free app which is easy to download and install via Apple iTunes or Android Market.”
