IFSEC West Africa 2011: access control is covered

The security event, held from 15-16 February in Lagos, Nigeria, will showcase early detection and perimeter technology designed for large applications.

Xtralis is to exhibit its Adpro Multi-site and Perimeter Security solutions, including a V3100 hybrid network video transmitter and recorder, Presidium Mini video motion detection system and Pro-series PIR detectors.

TDSi will bring its integrated access products to the table, including the recently launched IP video Vugarde and its building management system Exgarde.

Also displaying its access solutions will be Tyco’s Acti-Tech Limited. Together with its partner CEM Systems, Acti-Tech supplied access control for Nigeria’s Federal Ministry of Finance in Abuja.

South African manufacturer, Inhep Digital Security is to showcase its latest electronic intrusion detection system, the X64. The alarm system has been built so that it can expand from eight to 64 zones.

Bannerbridge, ZK Software and Cross Match Technology will be among the companies displaying biometric solutions at the show.

Cross Match will also launch its hand print scanner, the Scan 1000PX, which has been built with XD Technology.
