Inner Range eyes Middle East expansion with major new appointment
Access control manufacturer Inner Range is expanding operations in the Middle East after appointing a dedicated sales advisor for the region.
The company, which was founded in Australia in 1988, has an EMEA regional head office near Reading, Berkshire and has delivered several major projects in the Middle East in recent years.
Inner Range’s new dedicated regional sales manager for the Middle East and Africa – revealed as Issam Alhamdan, pictured – will cover sales leads and project delivery throughout the region.
“I’m delighted to welcome Issam to our team,” said Inner Range general manager Tim Northwood.
“Natural progression”
“The success of our recent projects in the Middle East and the fact we were so well received at this year’s Intersec event made it a natural progression to expand our team and take on someone to manage local sales activity and grow our business opportunities in the region. I look forward to Issam having every success.”
Issam Alhamdan launched his sales career with Alpha Data, a security integrator in Abu Dhabi, before working with access control manufacturers for more than a decade. He will remain based in Abu Dhabi, liaising with Inner Range existing and prospective clients across the Middle East and Africa.
He said: “I’m really excited to join Inner Range. It’s a great brand and suite of products and there are already leads from potential and existing clients to follow-up.
“There’s already a sense of momentum and I can hit the ground running. Initially the focus will be on promoting Inner Range products more widely by approaching security integrators and consultants to ensure they understand the power, sophistication and scalability that Inner Range systems offer.”
Inner Range develops intelligent, integrated access control and intruder detection systems for both the entry-level and enterprise markets, with highly encrypted end-to-end solutions developed for government, military or critical national infrastructure applications.
