Nedap Security Management gains ISO data security certification

Nedap Security Management has been certified to ISO 27001 – making its entire range of products and services compliant with an internationally renowned benchmark for information security.

Specifying best practice for information security management systems (ISMS), ISO 27001 is supported by a code of practice for information security management. It’s among the most popular standards of its type, with certifications soaring by more than 450% in the past decade.

“This is the formal confirmation of our ambition to excel at everything we do,” said Fokko van der Zee, managing director of Nedap Security Management.

“A crucial aspect of that, particularly in today’s market, is being fully compliant with the laws and regulations relating to the security of information. We’ve worked hard to achieve this certification over the last year and will continue to push forward to achieve ever higher standards.”

Netherlands-based Nedap Security Management develops access control, intrusion and locker management solutions. Nedap’s AEOS is the only fully-integrated security solution that combines access control, video management, intrusion detection and locker management.

Other Nedap business units include Nedap Identification Systems, which specialises in long-range identification for traffic and parking solutions.
