This makes the camera suitable for hazardous environments with stringent health and safety regulations.

Flame-proof housing has been certified at a “high” protection level by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IECEx) with the housing protecting an inner explosion from spreading into surrounding air and under ATEX, meaning the cameras can be deployed inapplicable hazardous environments (excluding mining) within the EU
