Clothing retailer Superdry has had a major new CCTV system installed to protect its flagship London store in Regent Street.
The surveillance system features over 100 new Genie cameras and was installed by Micro-Vision Fire and Security.
Superdry is owned by SuperGroup and is one the country’s fastest-growing international branded clothing companies.
The Regent Street outlet’s security upgrade was part of an overall project to upgrade protection at all of the company’s UK stores, and consists of:
28 Genie ASD fully functional dome cameras
62 Genie MD83SPX Pixim internal cameras
Nine Genie Micro Cannon cameras
Two Genie vandal-resistant domes
Eight Genie GDVRH-616 DVRs
Bespoke solution suited to the store
Genie woked with Provision, Mico-Vision’s preferred supplier, to design a system best suited to the store’s environment and one that can cope with varying lighting conditions.
Kevin Powis-Jones, managing director of Micro-Vision Fire and Security, said: “It was so important that we properly addressed all of Superdry’s requirements for this prestigious site. The Genie Pixim internal dome cameras perform extremely well in very tough lighting conditions, which in turn means our client is more than satisfied with the end result.”
Superdry also wanted to be able to view live and recorded footage at all of its stores from one central location. The EMS software supplied allows the Genie DVRs to be networked together and all footage sent to Superdry’s offices.
Speaking about the project, Genie CCTV’s managing director Steve Baker explained: “We’re delighted to be associated with the installation at Regent Street and the overall project for Superdry. Micro-Vision Fire and Security has expertly installed the system and it’s clear for all to see that they’ve focused on quality and reliability.”
