Presentations on Building Information Modelling (BIM) and passive fire protection training were among the education at The Association for Specialist Fire Protection’s AGM on Friday.Taking place at Saddlers Hall in London on 26 June the AGM also included a review of ASFP activities throughout the previous year.

Speakers also praised the impact of FIREX International 2015 in boosting the ASFP’s profile and the cause of passive fire protection:
“We had 17 members supporting the zone and the video screens [FIREX TV, which was broadcast on screens throughout the exhibition halls], showing the importance of passive fire protection. We ran two seminars and we had a very well attended session in the main theatre. All of our members attended the event and feedback from the event was very good.”
