Liverpool’s Korova club and music venue has been severely damaged by a fire that spread throughout the building.
In a blaze that began just before 7am last Saturday, the four-storey building partially collapsed from the second floor right through to the basement – where the nightclub was based.
Around 60 firefighters and 24 appliances were used, and the fire was mostly out by 10am that morning.
A spokesman from Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service told info4fire: “It’s too early yet to know what caused it, though it is under investigation. It will take some time because of how severely the building has been damaged.”
