Last week it was fire and rescue personnel tuning in digital TV in the US – this week we learn that firefighters are to be engaged in a high-tec war against burglars.
Staff from Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service are to offer a ‘DNA-style’ property marking system to households when making home fire safety check visits. The SmartWater system is a colourless liquid solution that contains a unique chemical code to prove ownership.
