| George Melpous heads up the fire systems division |
Amax Security has appointed George Melpous to head up its new fire systems division.
Mr Melpous, whose experience includes spells at fire specialists such as Wormald, will be helping the company’s clients with services such as fire detection and alarm systems and extinguishing equipment.
“Using our strengths in both fire and security, we can make the best use of both types of system by integrating them,” said Mr Melpous. “For instance, CCTV cameras being used for surveillance protection can offer added value by helping to confirm whether a fire alarm is genuine.”
