State of Physical Access Trend Report 2024

This is the place to be if you aspire to fire

The show, organised by CMPi, publishers of Security Installer, is timed to update fire professionals on the new Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order, which is due to come into force in October.

Highlights of the seminar programme will include presentations from the LPCB, Wagner UK and Geofire. Says event manager Gerry Dunphy: “There was a great response to Firex South earlier this year, with double the visitor figures of the previous event, proving that the simple formula of these regional events answers the needs of the industry. We’re returning to Harrogate with an even stronger show – more exhibitors, more products and more educational features than ever before.”

The Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) has awarded Continuous Professional Development accreditation to the free seminar programme with seven hours being counted as CPD on the basis of its technical content.

The FireBeam Company (stand A51) says after many months of testing at the VdS facility in Cologne, the FireBeam has passed its approval. With the current need for third party certification and professional training, BAFE (stand A21) will focus on third party certification and the role that schemes adopted by BAFE play in that process. Fire Fighting Enterprises Ltd (stand A19) is showing its latest infrared optical beam detectors, The Fireray 5000.
