fire detection at FIREX 2019

WATCH: FFE innovations you can see at FIREX 2019

FFE is showcasing its Fireray range of beam smoke detectors and Talentum flame detectors at FIREX 2019.

We invited FFE to tell visitors more about what they can expect to see at FIREX 2019, 18-20 June 2019 at ExCeL London (stand FX410).

Both boast game-changing features: Fireray One self-aligns in just one minute, while Talentum can ‘see’ flames through glass – as the videos below demonstates.

There will also be a sneak peek at the next generation of beam smoke detectors and flame detectors in the POC room.

NIMBUS LAN Control Systems meanwhile will, according to FFE, automates your compliance with the Fire Safety Order. Users can manage the system remotely.

FFE, which was founded as Fire Fighting Enterprises in 1974, designs and manufactures fire detection solutions such as aviation fire extinguishers, vibration switches, and beam-based smoke and flame detectors.

FFE products protect some of the most valuable, prestigious, and strategic sites and assets in the world.

Committed to ongoing innovation the company says it invests 8% of annual revenue into product R&D and holds regular company ‘sandpit sessions’ to make sure business practices innovate in line with products.

Nimbus in an innovative fire alarm management system providing control and monitoring wherever you are. A non-intrusive add-on to a fire alarm control panel. Nimbus communicates all activity to a cloud hosted database. Activity is recorded to an infinite log. Users access Nimbus through any desktop or mobile internet connection.

With over half a million units installed worldwide, fireray is the first choice for installers and engineers looking for Optical Beam Smoke Detection over wide areas. No specialist tools or knowledge needed for installation and operation, standalone beam detection that prioritises ease of installation.

The Talentum flame detectors are used in dangerous environments, including petrochemical plants, tank farm terminals and aircraft hangars. They see flickering flames through dust, smoke, oil films, steam, water and glass, making them perfect for dusty, dirty or wet environments.

FFE’s PoC room contains 2 (beam) Fireray and 1 (flame) Talentum related concepts to establish value against customer pains. Customers will be invited into the room and give them a chance to see and validate each of the PoC’s. The goal is to establish market viability.

A technical support app in the early stages of development will be available to demo to establish value against customer pains.

Target audience is end users, installers, electricians, consultants, architects, system integrators.

FFE is exhibiting as part of the Fire Solutions stand, at FIREX International 2019, taking place 18-20 June 2019 at ExCeL London (stand FX410). Book your free ticket now.
