FIREX 2022

C-TEC showcasing life safety solutions at FIREX 2022

C-TEC will be exhibiting its array of life safety solutions designed to improve fire safety in high-rise buildings on stand FI2010 at FIREX International between 17-19 May 2022 at London’s ExCeL.

As Europe’s biggest fire safety event, C-TEC has underlined the event as THE place to be if you’re a specifier, architect, fire safety specialist, contractor, property developer or housing professional.

The company will be exhibiting a host of innovative solutions designed to enhance fire safety in high-rise buildings on Stand FI2010 including EVAC-ALERT, a new BS 8629 evacuation alert system, Hush, a new BS 5839-6 Grade C domestic fire system, CAST, C-TEC’s own-protocol fire system, and Envision, a new Cloud-based fire alarm remote access, service and site management software package.

Andy Scott, C-TEC’s Project Director and Chair of BSI’s FSH/12/5 committee on alarm devices, voice alarm evacuation sub-systems and emergency voice communications, will be delivering a seminar on BS 8629 controlled evacuation in FIREX’s Expertise and Guidance Theatre. An expert in the field of fire safety, Andy will also present a paper on integrated commercial and residential fire alarm technology and participate in the ‘Is Stay Put Still Valid’ debate at the 7th International Tall Building Fire Safety Conference, which runs alongside the show.

C-TEC is also providing kit to support the Engineers of Tomorrow competition, where apprentices in the fire systems engineering sector battle it in a live installation scenario at the event to showcase their skills and the next generation of talent in the industry.

Andy said: “FIREX is an exciting place to connect with new people, catch up with customers and create new partnerships. We’re delighted to be sponsoring the 7th International Tall Building Conference this year and also supporting the IFSEC Engineers of Tomorrow Competition, a fantastic initiative designed to raise the profile of engineering apprentices in the industry.”
