Whitepaper: Enhancing security, resilience and efficiency across a range of industries

ASSA ABLOY still showcasing range of CLIQ technology aimed at critical infrastructure on day three of IFSEC 2018

The door opening solutions provider ASSA ABLOY will be presenting their latest innovations to help ‘access smarter thinking’ for critical infrastructure organisations.

One of the products that will be featured is PROTEC2 CLIQ, a web-based security management solution that allows for the remote management of diverse or large electromechanical master-keyed sites at any time, from anywhere in the world.

PROTEC2 CLIQ, provides comprehensive audit trails on cylinders and padlocks, recording who used each key, where and when. It offers the ability to remove permissions quickly and easily for lost or stolen keys, providing secure key management at all times. The solution also utilises CLIQ Connect, a revolutionary, highly encrypted online management system that uses advanced Bluetooth 4.0 technology, so users can activate or update keys wirelessly from their smartphone.

“Our cloud-based, programmable locking technology easily integrates with an organisation’s telemetry systems, to help improve efficiencies and protect the nation’s infrastructure.”

Aaron Yule, Managing Director at Abloy UK, said: “IFSEC 2018 offers a vital platform to demonstrate how critical infrastructure organisations can ‘access smarter thinking’ with the latest integrated security and access control technologies from ASSA ABLOY. Our cloud-based, programmable locking technology easily integrates with an organisation’s telemetry systems, to help improve efficiencies and protect the nation’s infrastructure.”

Abloy will also be exhibiting its CLIQ Go and eCLIQ solutions that enable busy end-users to save time and manage security and access rights from their smartphone.

Other features of eCLIQ include a pioneering chip and 128-bit AES encryption that provides high security and resistance to electronic attack. Its flexibility means that security managers can easily update access authorisations when required and lost eCLIQ keys can be quickly revoked, eliminating time and money spent on changing cylinders and re-cutting keys.

ASSA ABLOY’s Traka brand will also be exhibiting its S-Touch key cabinet, which can accommodate up to 60 keys and can operate as a standalone solution or can be connected to the brand’s key and asset management software, Traka Web.

ASSA ABLOY is exhibiting at IFSEC International, 19-21 June 2018, ExCeL London. You can find them on stand F320. Register now.
