Hanwha Techwin Europe Launches WiseNet HD+ Cameras and DVRs
Hanwha Techwin Europe – formerly Samsung Techwin Europe – has introduced an update to its WiseNet range in time for IFSEC International 2016.
WiseNet HD+ comprises both cameras and DVRs, combining to deliver 1080p Full HD images over coax cable.
Incorporating AHD technology that can deliver superb quality HD images over existing coax cabling, the competitively priced seven camera models and three DVRs in the WiseNet HD+ range offer an affordable upgrade path for legacy analogue systems, as well as new installations.

What Hanwha Techwin says about the WiseNet HD+ range
“The ‘plug & play’ WiseNet HD+ range can support the transmission of HD images (and audio) without any latency or image loss, at distances up to 500m using standard coax,” said Tim Biddulph, Head of Product Management for Hanwha Techwin Europe Ltd . “This alone is impressive, but what makes our WiseNet HD+ stand out, as well as being highly cost-effective compared to other AHD based solutions, is that it is very easy to implement as there is no need to incur the cost and time of installing encoders, converters or switches.
“The DVRs can also support existing analogue cameras and by being able to do so, they provide users with the opportunity to extend the life of their legacy systems and maximize ROI.”
