Firstlane from Automatic Systems – coming soon to IFSEC 2016

IFSEC Global: Can you tell us a bit about your products – their functionality, benefits to end users and the kind of verticals/organisations they suit?

John Baker: With experience spanning over 45 years, Automatic Systems designs and manufactures entrance control equipment, our product portfolio complements Security Entrance Lanes, Swing Gates, Tripod Turnstiles, Full Height Turnstiles, Interlocking Doors and Detection Units, Rising and Swinging Barriers, Extra-Long and Security Barriers, Rising Fenced Barriers, Rising Bollards and Road Blockers.

Automatic Systems has global presence with subsidiaries in Europe, Asia and North America, as well as a vast international network of distributors.  We currently have more than 90 million daily users of Automatic Systems equipment worldwide and our products can be seen within a wide range of sectors including offices, educational establishments, Airports, Transport, Logistics and the leisure industry to name but a few.

IG: If I were an end user, why should I buy and install your solutions?

JB: Our products have the reputation of being amongst the best on the market.  We pride ourselves on our outstanding build quality, speed of throughput and high performance detection.  We provide a responsive after sales service and support. With a progressive R&D department we keep up to date with the latest innovations and software.

IG: If I were an installer/integrator, why should I install/integrate your solutions?

JB: High quality and reliability, providing confidence in what they are providing to their customers.

IG: What can visitors to your IFSEC stand expect to see? What kind of people are you looking to meet and what are you looking to get out of the show?

JB: This year at IFSEC our stand will not only showcase a range of our products including:

  1. SlimLane double swing security entrance lanes that combine high throughput with advanced user protection.
  2. SmartLane, providing a high  degree of bidirectional control without compromising user protection or a company’s prestigious image
  3. ClearLock security booth designed for sensitive sites
  4. Rising Fenced Barriers

But we will be launching our “Firstlane” double swing door security turnstile to the UK marketplace.  FirstLane offers “unbeatable value for money whilst ensuring safety and quality have not been compromised.”

The Firstlane series comprises two models: the FirstLane 960, which offers a compact footprint, and FirstLane 970, which accommodates a wider passage to meet the needs of people with reduced mobility. The security turnstile suits all types of architecture.

Visitors to the show will not only see Firstlane firsthand but will also have the opportunity to see it working throughout the three days of the show.

IFSEC has always been to us a place to exhibit our products to a large marketplace be that International or UK based and we are always looking to gauge the interest of individuals or organisations with buying power and the need for increasing the security within their organisations.

Our main aim is to obtain contacts that we would not otherwise have met if we did not attend the show with our ultimate goal to build up lasting relationships.
