Winsted to debut IMPULSE Control-Room Console at IFSEC International 2016

Control room furniture manufacturer Winsted Europe & Middle East is returning to IFSEC International with a brand-new console, the ergonomically designed IMPULSE.

The product: Designed for use in video surveillance control rooms IMPULSE consoles are designed to reduce fatigue and improve the health of CCTV operators by encouraging them to alternate between sitting down and standing up while working – something the latest occupational health research strongly recommends. The IMPULSE control-room console is pitched by Winsted as a step forward both in terms of performance and comfort.

Features:

  • Independently adjustable with ergonomically curved work surfaces
  • Aesthetically designed in a contouring curve, the consoles two work surfaces can be adjusted from 30” to 46” at the touch of a button.
  • Both work surfaces feature two electric-lift legs and can support 235kgs, allowing users to switch between sitting and standing – a major health benefit, research strongly suggests – and organisations to meet their DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) and DSE (Display screen Equipment) obligations
  • Available as standard with attractive Graphite Nebular laminated work surfaces with Winsted’s proprietary Safeguard Edge, as well as Winsted’s innovative Versa Trak monitor mounting system.
  • Can be used as standalone workstations, or combined to create a custom configuration
  • An ‘off-the-shelf’ solution

Visit them at IFSEC: Winsted representatives will be on-hand throughout the event to offer companies a FREE design service, discuss customer-specific requirements and provide helpful information and advice on a range of control room-based issues. You can find them on stand D1565.

Register here to attend IFSEC International, which takes place between 21-23 June at London ExCeL. Once you have registered, you can then pre-book a meeting with Winsted for the event.
