IFSEC 2019

HiSilicon supercharging the smart city and smart home with PQ+AI chips and solutions at IFSEC 2019

HiSilicon release a full series of low-power-consumption and high-performance AI camera chips and solutions at IFSEC 2019 in the UK, with rich PQ+AI capabilities, covering high-end 8K to low-end 1080P applications.

Thanks to the progress of surveillance cameras, such as the sensor with higher sensitivity, 4K HEVC, and WDR ISP, capturing clear videos is no longer a problem. However, with the increasing number of cameras, how to find useful information in massive videos becomes a new problem. In recent two years, the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology, especially the deep learning technology, has greatly improved the problem of high false positives of traditional video analysis technologies.

To meet market requirements, HiSilicon integrates artificial intelligence technologies and video processing technologies into a single chip, and launches a series of high-performance and low-power PQ+AI chips in 2018.

At the IFSEC exhibition, HiSilicon will demonstrate various intelligent cameras based on these chips, including facial recognition access control, traffic video structuring, human tracking, posture identification, and their applications in cities and families.

HiSilicon adheres to the AI platform strategy and cooperates with industry-leading AI companies. These smart cameras are developed by them. On the AI platform, HiSilicon is willing to work with customers and partners to make cities smarter and make us more secure.

HiSilicon will also demonstrate the end-to-end video technologies, including:

  • E2E 8K: Covers 8K video capturing, 8K decoding, and 8K TV display, helping video industry to enter the 8K era.
  • Intelligent coding: The deep learning algorithm can greatly reduce the bit rate in some surveillance scenarios and save storage costs.
  • Stereo depth: Use human eyes to obtain space depth information to better assist in intelligent video analysis.

It is believed that these cutting-edge technologies will be able to inspire customers’ new product vision and enable continuous enablement for the future video surveillance industry.

HiSilicon is exhibiting at IFSEC International 2019, taking place 18-20 June 2019 at ExCeL London (stand IF920). Book your free ticket now.
