IFSEC 2022

Teledyne FLIR to showcase perimeter protection tech at IFSEC International 2022

Attendees at this year’s IFSEC International, taking place 17-19 May 2022 at ExCeL London, will find Teledyne FLIR on stand IF3030 showcasing its security product portfolio including its C-UAS and ITS Solutions.

FLIR-ThermalDetectionCameras-22Teledyne FLIR will demonstrate the FLIR counter-unmanned aerial system (C-UAS), as well as a variety of intelligent transportation solutions (ITS).

Specialising in perimeter security, Teledyne FLIR provides solutions that detect, locate and track intruders, to mitigate ground-based and aerial threats. The FLIR C-UAS platform includes long-range drone detection radars, such as the Ranger R20SS-3D or the R8SS-3D; pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ), multi-sensor systems, such as the Ranger HDC MS; Cameleon command and control software; and third-party radio frequency systems and effectors.

Also an expert in thermal imaging solutions, the company will showcase its new FLIR FH-Series multispectral cameras that integrate 4K visible imaging with a thermal sensor for greater sensitivity. The FH-Series ID features on-board FLIR Virtual Barrier convolutional neural network (CNN) analytics for intrusion detection and resilience against false alarms.

It will also debut its FLIR R-Series radars to the IFSEC audience – its first ground security commercial radars launched in 2021. R-Series radars detect threats faster and map human and vehicular movement, giving security operators more time to react to intrusion activity and greater situational awareness.

Available in two models, the R-290 radar is compliant with United States Federal Communications Commission (FCC) guidelines, and the R-190 is Conformité Européenne (CE)-compliant for Europe. When customers integrate R-Series radars with the FLIR DX-Series PTZ camera, they “gain a robust solution that expands intrusion detection beyond the fence line, streamlines target tracking, and enables video verification of alerts”, explains the company.

“The Teledyne FLIR team is looking forward to exhibiting at IFSEC 2022 to showcase our multilayer solutions improving perimeter security and public safety,” said Teledyne FLIR Sales Director, Harry Jackman. “We are excited to demo our C-UAS offering as well as show our customers our new radars, multispectral cameras and ITS solutions.”

The Teledyne FLIR stand will also feature FLIR visible security cameras and the United VMS platform as well as FLIR ITS solutions that improve mobility and incident response time for smarter, safer cities. The ITS-Series Dual AIDL enables automatic incident detection, data collection and early fire detection in tunnels. The FLIR TrafiData counts and classifies vehicles, bicycles and pedestrians as well as travel time for comprehensive congestion analysis.
