Winners revealed for 2022 Security & Fire Excellence Awards

The Security & Fire Excellence Awards returned for 2022, with another fantastic showing. Taking place at the London Hilton on Park Lane on Wednesday 23 November, winners came from all across the industry, with the event shining a light on some of the incredible achievements from the sector in the past year. Find out all of the night’s winners below!

The awards were supported by IFSEC International and FIREX International – the largest annual security and fire safety shows in Europe – as well as headline sponsors First Response Group and Uptick. Other partners included Axis Communications (Sustainability Partner), Bidvest Noonan, Zitko Group, Meesons, Atalian Servest, Suprema, Trackforce Valiant, Technical Resources, LMG and TrackTik.

Engineers of Tomorrow

To kick things off, the event also showcased the future of the industry, with winners of the highly respected Engineers of Tomorrow (EoT) competition being recognised. The event, which covers security and fire, highlights the best of the next generation of systems installers from across the UK, while the electronic security systems competition also acts as the sole mechanism to represent the industry at WorldSkills UK.

Regional heats of next year’s competition will once again take place between January and March 2020. The top apprentices will then proceed to the next stage, taking place at IFSEC International in May.

Winners will be officially announced in the coming week, so keep your eyes peeled!

It’s encouraging to see so many people who work in the industry come together to celebrate and honour the success of their own and their industry peers.

“The Security & Fire Excellence Awards is a long standing and respected event in the industry calendar and it never fails to remind us of the significant contribution and outstanding dedication of those who work in the private security sector to collectively make the UK a much safer place.”
