Sonus expands its presence in India
Sonus Networks, Inc., a leader in IP networking with expertise in delivering secure, reliable and scalable next-generation infrastructure solutions, today inaugurated its new, state-of-the-art facility in Bangalore, which consolidates two smaller facilities into one larger location. This marks a move to accommodate growth in the Indian region.
The company’s Bangalore facility will showcase Sonus’s leading voice security products apart from session border controllers, media gateways, softswitches products for service providers and large enterprises.
Sonus’s continued success in the Indian, Middle East and Asia Pacific telecommunications markets is the impetus behind the upgrade. Located in a brand new, state-of-the-art technology building, Sonus’s more than 77,000 sft. Of sophisticated lab space, it will house the company’s growing employee base in India, which currently stands at 490 employees. The Bangalore team will continue to focus primarily on software development and testing as well as systems engineering and customer base.
Sonus’s infrastructure solutions allow efficient and reliable delivery of voice and multimedia sessions over IP networks shile enabling customers to manage the flows of sessions in their networks using business policies.
