Provider of intelligent critical communication solutions, Zenitel continues to pursue its growth strategy in EMEA – specifically in Southern Europe. The company has recently launched Centre of Excellence (CoE) hubs in both Spain and Italy. This follows on from another CoE recently opened in Germany.

In Spain, Zenitel has appointed its longtime partner, COINTEL SL, to this role in the Iberian market. Based in Bilbao, the company will aim to build a strong network in verticals including transportation, building security, prisons, education and healthcare. It is said to have “extensive experience” in the high-end intercom equipment market and communication in security-critical areas.
“We reserve the highest level of accreditation and partnership for our Centres of Excellence, so it is just natural that COINTEL has become our CoE in Spain, given their performance throughout our long-standing cooperation,” says Wim Van Winghe, VP Sales EMEA for Zenitel. “Our CoEs represent our brand, products, and reputation in their designated markets. Meanwhile, in Italy, Zenitel has appointed ELCA ACS Srl as its new CoE for onshore safety and security solutions.
Based near Milan ELCA ACS Srl has supported Zenitel’s maritime business unit for more than 30 years, by designing, selling, and providing after-sales support of Zenitel’s Intercom, Talk-Back, Public Address & General Alarm, Master-Clock, IP-DECT, IPTV, CCTV and Wireless Paging solutions to the maritime market. With this new role, ELCA ACS Srl, will now support all existing and new channel partners who sell Zenitel’s onshore intercom and intelligent communication solutions.
